TRIP SUPPORT SERVICES
JET TEAM will plan your journey strategically and tactically from start to finish; provide us with outline details of where you want to go and we will advise you on the best routing, taking into account geopolitical and operational safety, and avoiding unnecessary expense. Based upon initial planning discussions we will run test flight plans for every leg, using historical weather data, identifying the most apposite en route fuel stops where necessary. Our service includes detailed fuel plans for each leg, and worldwide filing in accordance with latest AIRAC data and national regulations.
JET TEAM maintains cordial relations with all the worlds civil aviation authorities, or the best-connected local agents where they are mandatory, allowing us to obtain overflight and landing permissions very quickly – normally well within published timescales. From the outset we will provide you with realistic delivery timescales, and keep you up-to-date as each permissions is received, allowing you to plan accurately.
JET TEAM dispatch every flight with detailed weather and NOTAM packages, including upper and lower wind charts, significant weather, NOTAM for airfields/FIR involved and TAF/METAR data – the latter includes all suitable airfields en route.
On mission day JET TEAM provide clients with a top cover ops service, monitoring your departure and arrival, and updating other parties where you require us to do so. In the event of a changes or delays we will quickly advise you of significant issues such as adverse weather forecasts or restrictive airport opening hours, suggesting other options where available.
Let JET TEAM liaise with your chosen FBO – or recommend one in a new location – coordinating ground handling on your behalf, and keeping everyone appraised of changes. This simple service takes a little of the pressure off you, whilst ensuring every base is covered for a smooth departure and arrival. This service is particularly valuable when things change, and the crew are focusing on other issues – we alleviate the pressure to think of everything by looking ahead at possible issues, such as airfield opening hours, customs etc. We work with you as an extra pair of eyes, ensuring the smallest detail doesn’t balloon into a major oversight.
The worlds airports are becoming increasingly congested, resulting in new landing and parking slot regimes being introduced, such as A-CDM in Europe. Upon receipt of your schedule, JET TEAM will take immediate action to secure the slots and parking you need, while warning you of significant events on the world calendar that might affect your plans.
There are many different Customs and Immigration rules to comply with around the world, which can vary for passengers and crew, and even by airport in the same country! As part of our trip planning service we routinely check Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) requirements in the very early stages of planning, to ensure no nasty surprises on arrival. There can also be service issues to consider where ramp access may be restricted to certain providers. In some areas of the world obtaining catering for crew and passengers can prove a challenge, let alone finding decent quality. JET TEAM can assist flight attendants ahead of arrival, providing details of national quarantine and import rules, or connecting you to local caterers, finding specialist catering when required.
